Connected Learning Seminar: Adventure

Values-driven leadership, much like a sport or yoga, is a practice. To help you perfect your craft, we invite you to join Connected Learning Seminars. These free, weekly, virtual seminars are an opportunity to reflect on your life and the personal dimensions leadership in the company of others doing the same. 

Starting on July 15 at 5:00PM EST, join others around the virtual seminar table to be in dialogue around the theme of AdventureAdventure is not just a leaving home, but a departure with the anticipation of excitement and novelty. How do we think about risk, particularly the risks inherent in relationships? What are the qualities of exploration and discovery that take us outside of our comfortable selves? To what extent to tools of various kinds accentuate--and limit--our agency as follow unexpected pathways?

Each Connected Learning Seminar series comes in a set of three sessions. In order to foster deep conversations and enable peer connections across these sessions, we encourage you to attend for the full July series if you can. We will have more opportunities to engage in later months should these dates and times not work well with your schedule. 

Dates and focus themes are as follows:

  • July 15, 5:00PM - 6:30PM EST | Friendship and Risk
  • July 22, 5:00PM - 6:30PM EST | Exploration and Discovery
  • July 29, 5:00PM - 6:30PM EST | Technology and Agency

Expect to be engaged and participate throughout the duration of the hour. Please be prepared with your camera and a microphone on!
